I loved the opportunity of reworking an entire small piece of urban land. The challenge was to create a private and lush oasis in the center of the city of West Palm Beach. The wonderful thing about Florida landscape design is the abiltiy to enjoy instant gratification. Coming from the northeast, I am accustomed to a very slow rate of growth, what is deemed a slow growing plant in Florida just means you have to wait an extra year to see it reach its desired size. (That may be a slight exageration, but not by much.)
